Goldridge Primary offers a wide range of sporting activities. These sporting activities vary each term throughout the year.

The 1st term of the year, usually from January to early April, offers mainly Athletics which includes only High Jump, Long Jump, Sprints, Relays, Long Distance running(800m)  and Cross Country. First term also offers Cricket and Tennis. Swimming is incorporated in the morning Physical Education lessons. The school hosts annual Infants sports, Inter-house Cross Country and Inter-house Athletics track and field competitions in this 1st term. All pupils in the school have three sporting houses which compete, these are: Agate (Green), Topaz (yellow) and Garnet (Red). The school also hosts the annual Sky-Coast sponsored Inter-schools Athletics Competition which was debuted in 2014 plus the school also attends traditional Athletics competitions at Lilfordia Primary School, Midlands Christian School, Kyle Preparatory School and Bryden Country School.

In term 2, which is usually in May to early August, the school offers Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Tennis and Soccer. The age groups that participate are: the Under 9years category, the Under 11years category and the Under 13years plus Opens category, “opens” being those children aged 13 years and above. The school hosts its annual Inter-house Ball Games competitons at school terms end. In this same term, Goldridge Primary also hosts the Mes-Clothing sponsored Goldridge Rugby and Hockey Festival debuted in 2012. Goldridge Primary attends traditional Netball, Soccer, Rugby and Hockey festivals at Midlands Christian School, Kyle Preparatory School, Rydings Primary School, Murray McDougal Primary School, Lomagundi College Primary School, Whitestone Primary School, Petra Primary School, St Thomas Primary and Bryden Country School.

The 3rd Term, which is usually from September to early December, offers mainly Swimming for all pupils from Nursery to Grade 7. The 3 houses compete in the annual Inter-house Swimming Gala and Infants have their annual Infants Gala. The school Swimming team attends the annual Midlands Christian School Gala. In this term, the school also offers Cricket and Tennis. It hosts the annual Goldridge Colts (Under 11) Cricket Quadrangular and the BancABC Under 13 Doubles Tennis Tournament in these disciplines.
